Namibia Wildlife Resorts, Namibia National Parks and National Monument Visitor / Entry Fess

1. Namibia Ministry of Environment and Tourism Fees ( MET )

(We have no indication of any increase in the below fees for year 2012)

Permits For: Cape Cross are available from the office at Cape Cross open 10:00 - 17:00

Permits For: Etosha are available from the offices at the entrance gates to the park.

Permits For: Namib Naulkuft Park Sesriem / Sossusvlei area are available from the office at the Sesriem Camp

Permits For: Skeleton Coast Park are available from the Ugab River and Springbokwasser park entrance gate offices

Permits For: Waterberg Plateau Park are available from the offices at the Waterberg Resort

Permits For: The Northern section of the Naukluft Park including Moon Landscape, Bloedkoppie, Welwitschia Drive etc. are available from the MET/NWR offices at the corner of Sam Nujoma Avenue and Bismarck Street in Swakopmund.

Park Entrance Fees are payable for each day you are in the National Park

Note: The Resorts in the Namibia National Parks are managed and operated by Namibia Wildlife Resorts:

You are advised to book your accommodation in advance, especially if your visit is coinciding with Namibian and or South African school holidays. Accommodation ranges from air conditioned bungalows equipped for self catering, to camping areas having ablution facilities.

All prices are quoted in Namibia Dollars (N$) which are equivalent to the South African Rand

  • Rack Rate include 15% VAT and Tourism Levies.
  • Rack rates are subject to change without prior notice and are subject to NWR's terms and conditions.
  • Children under the age of 6 stay free of charge
  • Children 6-12yrs old pay 50%
  • Provision for children will be made upon arrival; however, the booking must be made in advance
  • No more than two children may share a room with their parents
  • Disabled access units are available at a number of the NWR facilities = please enquire and specify when booking.
  • In order to promote tourism in the country, Namibians and Namibian Permanent Residents qualify for a 25% discount on accommodation rack rates; Namibian pensioners Qualify for a 35% discount on accommodation rack rates.
  • Tour operators, both in Namibia and abroad, qualify for commission at the direction of the NWR
  • Activities and meals are non commissionable.
  • These rates are approved by Resolution number 2008.03.31/02 of the Board of Directors of Namibia Wildlife Resorts.
